Game 1 - 2015
12/31/1999
11:00 -
11:59 PM
BOOM! They stand on Lorraine old block, 44 years in the future.
December 31, 1999 ... some time during this day.
Seeing the future dazzles Lorraine and George. They want to head to
the clock tower, where it's sure to be busy this night. Maybe even a ball
dropping from the top of the clock tower!
They stroll hand in hand to the tower and see a huge crowd
surrounding the cout house, a giant ball on a pole now perched at the top.
People are murmuring their excitement. Many seem a bit worried about something
called "Y2K," but most are excited for the new millenium!
(Yes, time travel points for both G & L +1.
George and Lorraine dance slowly. Lorraine is a bit worried about
the Y2K bug about getting sick, but George assures her that he will protect
her.
The countdown to New Year's should begin in about 20 minutes.
... And after that 20 minutes the countdown begins.

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!"
1/01/2000
12:00 AM
Lorraine, happy to have relaxed in the future New Year, decides
that she wants to go the 2015 on her birthday, October 21st. George agrees,
also thinking they could check on Marty and make sure everything turns out all
right.
They put in the destination time and are sent to 2015. They arrive
in the futuristic town square, downtown Hill Valley at some time in the
morning?
10/21/2015
6:00 - 7:00 AM
They put in the destination time and are sent to 2015. They arrive
in the futuristic town square, downtown Hill Valley at some time in the
morning?
Lorraine and George look around and see all of this stuff.
It's early in the morning (I'm assuming) so not a lot of people are out in the
streets yet. A car flies down and lands in the townsquare on a ramp. Yes,
that's right, flies! Electronic billboards pop up every now and then with advertisements,
and a child goes by on a hoverboard.
Lorraine grabs George, as excited as a school girl. She wants to get some pizza from the Pizza Hut first as she's pretty hungry (probably still tired as well, since she only got about 2 hours of sleep in 1955).
They walk across the town to the Pizza Hut and enter. It looks sort
of like a current Pizza Hut, but more futuristic. When they reach the front of
the line to place their order an electronic TV whishes at them and a woman's
face appears.
"Welcome to Pizza Hut! Will your order be for here or to
go?"
"One Country Feast Pizza!" the screen cries.
Suddenly a slot on the counter opens and a small silver bag pops
out, a metal hand holding onto it.
"That will be $100!" exclaims the screen. "Please
press your thumb to the plate to pay!"
The device before them is a thumb scanner. The price of their pizza
blinks on the device, and a yellow light blinks, waiting for someone to pay.
Lorraine presses her thumb to the plate and the bill is paid and
the bag is handed to Lorraine. What tiny pizzas they have in the future! But
Lorraine and George are too tired to worry about it. They drag themselves to an
alleyway and drop into a little corner and fall asleep for the morning!
7:00 - 7:40 AM
Doc & Marty
arrive in Lyon
Estates in the year 2015. They coast to a stop on the street.
Doc pulls over on the street and they notice Marty's old house,
refurbished for the future. Marty is quite excited for the future and Doc
reminds him that they are there to get more info on WADOTAT and NIFADOT and
nothing else. Doc decides that they need new clothes, so while Marty counts up
the cash they have available, Doc heads for the Lone Pine Mall.
Only when
Doc pulls into the parking lot he finds that it has been transformed into the
Lone Pine Amusement Park! Rollercoasters, carousels, food stands, and games can
all be seen beyond the gate and ticket counter ahead. The park is not busy at
the moment. It doesn't appear to be opened yet that morning.
Marty & Doc are dumbfounded to find that the mall has become an
amusement park 30 years in the future. Doc decides it's best to return to the
town square and start from there. They get in the DeLorean and drive to
downtown Hill Valley.
As they
drive they soon discover that the roads here are cracked and broken as if not
used for some years. As they pull into the town square, past a building that
says "Fusion Industries," they see the following
industries. It resembles the old town square in many ways, but is still new
and dazzling. The court house, it seems, has been turned into an Underground
Mall!
Doc & Marty take in this new futuristic town square. Doc spots
a flying car and gets really excited about the possibilities of
hover-converting the time machine.
Marty
points out the underground mall, but Doc is not sure they'll have enough money
with inflation rates to get what they need. He looks around for a bank but the
town square doesn't seem to have one anymore.
Wait, yes, there is a bank. Called True Blues. It just couldn't be
seen at first, all nestled between the Statler and Rejuvination Clinic!
Doc enters
the bank. He looks around, but finds only one small room with no one in it.
Suddenly a computer screen swings in front of him and a face on the screen
asks: "Are you a customer of True Blues, the finest bank in
California?"
Doc, startled at first by this simulation, says he believes he does
have an account and announces himself as Emmett Brown.
"Scanning,"
says the simulation. After a few moments, "No Emmett Brown from Hill
Valley is in the directory. Are you from out of town, sir, and if so, please
supply the town and state you currently reside in."
Doc gives
the computer simulation a flimsy excuse and returns to Marty outside the bank,
who is thinking of how noisy the skyway above his old house must be! Now what?
Doc and Marty decide to skip getting new clothes, since the fashion
sense in the future seems to be pretty diverse anyway. They jump in the
DeLorean and head back to the River Road Tunnel (which Marty has been dying to
get back to since they left it).
As they
arrive they notice that it is now old an dilapitated, never used anymore. The
road is torn away, leaving nothing but dirt. As they get out they see that the
secret door still stands as sturdy as ever, only the slot for the card is gone
and a small light and plate have replaced it.
7:40 - 7:50 AM
Marty, seeing a smudge of a fingerprint on the plate, brushes his
thumb against it. Doc is too late to stop him, and grabbing the DeLorean keys
from Marty, gets ready to bolt if need be.
The light
on the pad glows red and nothing more happens. The door does not open and no alarm
appears to have been set off.
Marty & Doc go back and forth on what they should do. Go back
to before the place was built? Try Doc's thumb? No, Doc wants to fiddle with it
and see if he cant get it to open with his screwdriver.
He begins fooling around, but is having the damndest time figuring
it out. As he messes around a voice behind them says: "You'll never get in
that way."
Spinning
around, they see a man, clothed from head to foot, a ski mask over his face.
They can't tell his identity and he is deliberately altering his voice.
Marty nudges Doc to get his gun, and Doc is prepared to grab it out
of his pocket if need be. Doc asks the man how he would know.
"Calm down," says the man. "I'm a friend. Listen, that door leads to the time cops' secret hideout. Take this." He hands them a plastic card. "That place will be swarming with time cops in '85, but in any other time period it should be empty and should contain some information that you want. Don't let the time machine out of your sights. If WADOTAT gets their hands on it we'll all be in terrible danger. They NEED it to access the events of the Omega timeline. This time machine created a very specific wormhole structure that no other time travel device can access. The Omega timeline can only be accessed by this time machine, and WADOTAT knows it has a very slim timeframe to get the time machine and access the Omega timeline. They won't stop until they have it.
"I have to go now. But be careful. And don't trust the
NIFADOT. They have their own devices in mind. And I'm not so sure you'd
appreciate their organization if you knew what they were up to. The time cops
can help, but don't expect them to cooperate with you. I have to go now. Good
luck!"
The man
runs off behind the tunnel and disappears.
Doc
examines the card the man gave him. It seems like it will fit in the slot in
1985, but there is no slot in 2015.
Doc and
Marty decide that it's best to head to 1955 to try the card. Marty refuels and
they get in the DeLorean and accelerate to 88 mph. They arrive on the morning
of November 5, 1955 5:45 AM, before their others selves have even arrived.
7:50 AM -
2:00 PM
George wakes up at around 2:00 that afternoon and wakes Lorraine up
with a kiss. They share the dehydrated pizza (strangely yummy!) and then decide
to head to the Lyon Estates to see what's happening there, since it's
Lorraine's birthday and they want to see what becomes of Marty.
2:00 - 2:30 PM
It's a
long walk for them, seeing all sorts of new futuristic sites that makes the now
rested Lorraine squeal with sober delight! Once at the Estates they find it
looks much the same as in 1985, but a bit cleaned up, and the lion statues have
been replaced with holograms! A noisy skyway zooms by overhead.
2:30 -
3:10 PM
George and Lorraine sneak to their house. The driveway is
filled with cars. They peer into the living room window and see a great deal of
people: Old Lorraine, Old George (in an upsidedown contraption), Jennifer Parker,
Old Biff Tannen, Linda and Dave McFly, both in their late 40's to early 50's.
They have party hats on and are chatting lightly, however it seems the inside
of the house is soundproof and George and Lorraine can't hear anything.
George tries to get a better look into the room, to see if
he can't glimpse a sign of Marty somewhere. Photos of all the McFly children
are on the walls, including their wedding days. But no pictures of Marty past
the age of 17 can be found ...
George and Lorraine are rather upset to find that there's no signs
of Marty past 1985. They look around the driveway but find nothing useful. They
go around the back, going through the unlocked gate, and find an opened window
in the den where they can hear all that is being said in the living room and
can just see into the living room from afar.
"... the big 77!" says a voice that sounds like an
elderly George. "How's it feel honey?"
"As spry as I ever was!" returns the voice of elderly
Lorraine. "I'm certainly glad I gave up drinking when I did, or I know I
wouldn't have lived so long! But it seems with every passing year ..."
"Now, now, dear, this is a time for celebration, not to mourn
the past," says old George.
"But if only we had stopped Marty, or stayed with him and kept
him safe!" exclaimes old Lorraine. "When Doctor Brown returned with
the news that our son was ..." Lorraine chokes up, not finishing her
statement.
"I know, but there was nothing we could do," says old
George. "WADOTAT had claimed the DeLorean already and the devices we
discovered had been destroyed by that point. I'm afraid that it's just
something we have to accept now. Now that WADOTAT has usurped the world
government and taken control, it's all we can do. We our citizens of the
WADOTAT organization and there's nothing that can be done. We've tried
everything and it's only made life harder for us. Now we must accept our
destiny."
Old Lorraine is now in tears! What a way to celebrate her
birthday!
Totally shocked by the revelation that Marty will soon die, George
and Lorraine decide that they should split up. George stays behind to listen to
more of the conversation, while Lorraine heads to the library to try to gather
some info on WADOTAT.
After a parting hug, George and Lorraine split up and Lorraine
heads to the library. She arrives about a half hour later or so and enters the
library and uses a computer on a desk to start searching for WADOTAT.
She discovers a few book vids available, and she grabs them and
sits at a table to start pouring over them.
She isn't able to learn much of the organization's past, except
that is was brought together by the man known as Hour Glass, or their leader,
whose identity is a mystery even in 2015 to the public. She does learn,
however, that on the early morning of Saturday, October 26, 1985 that WADOTAT
was able to eliminate the NIFADOT leader and take out the TORO police force
from the future, after which he was able to travel far into the future and
overthrow the world government.
WADOTAT then traveled back to the year 2000 where they overthrew
all the world orders and destroyed the UN, claiming the world in the name of
Hour Glass. With no time police forces from the future to hault him and no one
capable of doing so in 2000, Hour Glass and his organization took control of
the world.
There is no mention of Marty or Doc Brown, as if their name
were left from the history books intentionally.
Lorraine examines the info closer to see if it says where this all
occured. According to the history books it all took place at the McFly Ravine.
As she goes deeper into the books she learns that Emmett
Brown was accused of Marty's murder and tried and sentenced to lifetime
imprisonment at Hill Valley Sanitarium.
3:10 - 3:30 PM
After listening at the McFly home for a while and not
gaining any new information, George heads to the Boot Hill Cemetery to see if
he can find Marty's grave. Not finding it there he goes to the Oak Park
Cemetery (recently added to the map) and does indeed find Marty McFly's grave.
Died October 26, 1985.
After learning all this info, Lorraine hurries to the cemetery to
check Marty's grave and runs into her husband. They quickly share what they've
learned.
George would like to go to Doc's garage in 2015 to see if
Doc is still alive, but Lorraine, clearly not thinking 4th dimensionaly, wants
to hurry and get to 1985 before her son is shot. They quickly put in their
destination time, October 25 1985, 11:40 PM and hit the activate buttons.
10/22/2015
6:00 -
6:30 AM
Doc and
Marty quickly change the tire, using a jack they found in the trunk of the
DeLorean, and Doc fills it with gas and Marty refuels it with plutonium. Doc
puts the destination time as October 22nd, 2015, 6:00 A.M. and they get in and drive
forward to 88 mph and arrive at said date at the older and now caved-in Del
Gato mine.
(Ooh, I like that checking out computers from the library idea,
HFD! )
Marty and Doc head for the library in exterior Hill Valley and
enter. There are lots of vid books, and Doc goes to the counter and asks if
they check out computers.
"You
can check out a lap top," says the receptionist, handing him a futuristic
lap top complete with CD slot. "Can I have your library card, or would you
like to use it here?"
Doc makes an act of searching for his wallet, but doesn't want to
use his library card in case he's dead. He goes out to get Marty's card and
Marty does indeed find it in his wallet.
Doc returns to the reception desk and hands the receptionist the
card. She swipes it through a machine.
"That's
strange," she says. "It says that this card expired in 1986! I don't
think I'll be able to renew it. I've never seen this before. Would you like to
sign up for a new card? We use thumb prints more often than not nowadays
anyway. I can scan your thumb and create a new account if you like."
Doc gives the receptionist a fake name: Isaac Von Braun and decides
to make a new account, figuring he is not alive in 2015.
"Okay," she says, putting the info into the tumb-scanner
machine. "Press your thumb to the plate."
Doc does so. The green light comes on. "You live at 121 JFK
Drive [OOC: or whatever Doc's address was]?"
Doc nods solemnly.
"Okay, it appears that you already had an account with us and it
was a few years old. Now it's been renewed. Here is your lap top. It's due back
in 2 weeks. Have a good day."
She hands
the lap top to Doc.
Doc goes back to the DeLorean and joins Marty and then inserts the
CD into the computer, ready to play the rest of the videos.
A message
pops onto the screen: "Unable to read disk. Disk specially coded with blue
strip. Only playable on authorized high-functioning computer terminals."
Doc and Marty decide they should go to the past before the headquarters was destroyed. Marty refuels and they accelerate to November 4th, 1955 5:45 AM.
10/26/2015
6:00 - 6:30 AM
It disappears just before it hits the warehouse and reappears at
6:00 in the morning in 2015. Luckily the warehouse has been torn down by this
point and the car accelerates forward without any hinderance.
+ 1 TT Skill for Marty.
+ 4 TT Skill for Doc (accounting for his 3 trips using the device as well).
Doc brings the car to a stop. Doc asks how much fuel they have left
and Marty says he thinks they're down to 2 or 3 pellets.
They won't be time traveling for long if they don't find a new
power source. Doc tries not to worry about it, and returns to the computer. He
types "The Other" into the search engine.
As he hits enter, though, the screen suddenly goes blank. Opening the CD again, Doc finds that it is blank, as if no information ever existed on it!
Rather annoyed by this turn of events, Doc and Marty decide that
they should try to get the time machine fixed with a new power source.
Doc finds a storage garage in exterior Hill Valley and pulls in.
Doc and Marty sit in the storage garage, thinking. Doc remembers a
place called Fusion Industries and wonders if he could use that to power the time
machine. But he doesn't have enough money. They decide that they should try to
use any funds Marty's future self might have available.
They drive into downtown Hill Valley and stop at a phonebooth outside the Bottoms Up building.
6:30 - 6:50 AM
Doc leaves Marty in the DeLorean, reminding him to pay attention, and then goes to the phonebooth. A screen sits before him, the words "Yellow Vid" on the screen. It seems to be voice activated.
Doc asks the machine for Marty's current address in 2015.
A voice chimes back "There is no entry for Martin McFly in our Hill Valley directory. Is there anything else I can assist you with?"
Doc asks for the address of the only other 2 time travelers he can trust: George and Lorraine. The machine gives them the same address for the McFly house in 1985.
Marty returns his attention to the time travel device he found, clearly having not learned a lesson from before ... It looks about the same as he remembers it from examining it the first time.
Doc thanks the screen and gets back into the DeLorean, a bit
disturbed that Marty's address isn't available. Marty asks what's next, and Doc
explains that Marty's address isn't in the directory, and says they'll go to
Marty's parents house to try to shed some light on the subject.
Off they go, toward Lyon Estates, just as they remember it from when they traveled there in the future before. They arrive at the McFly home and pull into the driveway.
6:50 - 7:10 AM
Doc gets out of the car, asking Marty to stay behind for the time being.
He knocks on the door.
A few seconds later it opens. George, age 77 appears in the
doorway.
"Oh my God!" he exclaims. "Doc Brown! But you're ... you're dead!"
Doc explains to George that he is the Doc from 1985 and then invites
Marty to the door, explaining that he has his son with him.
"Oh, God, Marty!" George exclaims. "You're still alive! Whatever you do, son, stay away from the Clayton Ravine! Understand me! Don't go to that ravine no matter what happens!"
Marty asks George what happens at the ravine.
"Well ..." George begins. "It's where you died, 30 years ago today. Doc told us all about it. You were murdered by the ruler of WADOTAT. Well, according to Doc, that is your future self. But the jury didn't believe that story and you ended up being convicted for Marty's death ... Just stay away from the ravine and WADOTAT! Please, for the sake of our family. You don't know how devastated your mother was!"
Doc asks George to elaborate on everything his future self told him.
"You were both lured there somehow by WADOTAT," explains
George. "How I don't know. We weren't able to talk long. You had intended
to finish off their leader and get revenge, but WADOTAT escaped and you were
arrested shortly thereafter. All we could gather was that Marty was shot by
their leader who escaped at the Clayton Ravine. I'm sorry we never learned much
more."
"George, who is at the door?" comes a voice from inside.
"Oh, it's just --"
Lorraine, age 77 approaches the door and looks out. "Oh! My!
God!"
And with that, Lorraine faints into George's arms.
Doc and Marty help George carry Lorraine back into the house and
sit her on a couch. George gets a set cloth and puts it on her forehead. Doc
sits near a window so he can keep an eye on the time machine. He asks George
what became of him.
"Hill Valley Sanitarium," says George. "Everyone thought you were crazy, the story you were telling, and there was no evidence. WADOTAT stole the DeLorean. You couldn't prove time travel. Plus, you were charged with all the other murders at the ravine as well. "
"Actually, it was Lorraine and I who murdered those
people," says George quietly. "We've been meaning to thank you for
taking the rap for us, though! It was that bloody machete, it was, it was! It
possessed us!
"And yes, I'm afraid that WADOTAT has become the world's ruler."
"Well, Lorraine had just stopped drinking and I had regained my confidence and we may have went a little overboard. Plus, as I mentioned before, that machete was cursed by Jason Vorhees. But that's another movie ... All I can say, son, is I'm sorry!"
"I can help," nods George. "I owe you one. I and
Lorraine might be in jail for life if it wasn't for you! I have enough money
saved up in our savings. We can head to Mr. Fusion's whenever you're ready.
We'll let Lorraine sleep. She blocked the murders from her mind after Marty
died, and we dont' want to dredge all that up again ..."
Doc quickly tries to get off the subject of George and Lorraine
being murderers, telling George they're ready to go now.
George leads them outside to the garage and gets in his
hover-converted car. "I'll drive," he says, pulling up to the
DeLorean as Marty and Doc start to get in. "It would be tough to follow me
if I took the skyway. Let's go."
George pulls out of the driveway and Marty and Doc follow in the
DeLorean.
7:10 - 7:20 AM
They arrive in downtown Hill Valley and pull up to Fusion
Industries.
"Pull the DeLorean into the Fusion garage," says George.
"I'll go in and ask to have the plutonium core converted. That's not
uncommon nowadays. All race cars are powered by fusion, so I'll just explain
that you're a new race driver."
George then enters the door to Fusion Industries.
Doc pulls the DeLorean into the garage and he and Marty talk a bit
about their plans. Doc's afraid they may have to cooperate with TORO if they
want to live through this, but Doc refuses to recreate the Omega timeline.
As they talk, a man who works at Fusion approaches the car and
waves for Marty and Doc to get out. He holds out his hands for the DeLorean
key.
"We'll have the car ready in an hour," he says. "You can come back then. By the way, those thrusters you installed are smilin'!"
Doc reluctantly hands over the key, warning the man not to touch
anything he doesn't have to.
The man accepts the key. "No problem. We've done this a
million times!"
The man then gets in the DeLorean and drives it into a garage area to work on it.
Doc rejoins George and asks what life is like under WADOTAT and
asks George if there's anything else they can get while in 2015.
"Ever read 1984?" asks George. "Sort of like that,
but with time travel.
"And you might want to try the appliance store. They have the
greatest gadgets you'll ever see! You should grab a hoverboard, Marty! It's a
shame they never had those when you were ... well, I always thought you'd like
to ride one. There's an appliance store in the mall if you're interested, and a
toy store if you want to get a hoverboard, too. Here, take this card," he
hands a card to Doc. "It has some money on it that's good at the mall that
I made for you in Fusion's, if you want to pick anything up.
"I'd better get back to Lorraine. I've already paid Fusion, so
you just have to pick up the car when it's ready. Good luck and stay safe! I
hope that you can erase this future from existence once and for all!"
George gives Marty a big parting hug and then reluctantly gets back in his car and flies back home.
Marty and Doc say goodbye to George and decide to go shopping at the mall. They enter the underground mall and finds a toy store, jewelry, electronics/appliance store, food court, vid books store, department store, furniture store, party store, sports store, and clothes store.
7:20 - 7:30 AM
Marty and Doc enter the underground mall. Doc veers straight for
the appliance store while Marty gets stuck gaping at the window of the toy
store at the hoverboards in the window.
Doc enters the appliance store and sees all sorts of stuff: a watch
that tells the weather, a Sleep Inducing Alpha Rythm Generator, and lots of
other future gizmos that you can think of.
Marty suddenly can't resist the call of a hoverboard! He grabs the
card from Doc's pocket and rushes into the store and purchases the blue one
with jets!
"You sure you don't want this nice looking pink one,
sir?" asks the person at the register.
Marty is glad to take the blue one instead. He puts the hoverboard on
his foot and joins Doc in the appliance store, handing the card back to him.
(We'll make it a part of your clothes as long as you continue to
walk with it, Shandy. Or maybe you could by a backpack or something somewhere
to help you store things easier?)
As Marty skates around on his new toy, Doc asks the man at the
register if he has a tools section to replace his old screwdriver.
"Well, we don't sell screwdrivers, but you can purchase an
all-purpose Holo-tool! It becomes any tool you want it to be with the flick of
a switch!"
Hearing about the all-purpose tool makes Doc act like a Marty in a
Hoverboard store! He asks for that and a Sleep Inducer.
"Okay. Your total is 1,479 dollars."
Sounds steep. Doc hands the card to the man, but it seems to still
have enough money on it. The man hands Doc the card back as well as the bag
with the two items in it. Doc throws his pipe in it to make room.
(Oh, and yeah, the other device Marty has is the time travel gizmo
he found in the car at the clock tower.)
Doc thanks the man and he and Marty leave the mall. Doc dumps the
useless NIFAdisks into a garbage can and puts the HoloTool in his pocket. Doc
could probably check how much money is left on the card outside the Tru Blue
bank at the ATM. 3 small items sounds good to me!
Marty wonders if they shouldn't try to buy more bullets for his
gun.
Doc and Marty head to the bank and check out the ATM first. Doc
slides the card in and a message stating "$2,134 left in account"
appears on the screen.
7:30 - 7:40 AM
Doc gets a grumbling in his stomach and he and Marty decide it's
time to eat. Marty and Doc head to the Pizza Hut and get in line to be served.
As they approach the front counter, a video screen with a person's image slides
up before them.
"Welcome to Pizza Hut, for here or to go?"
Doc and Marty order their pizzas for here and pay with the card.
In less than two seconds a screen waiter zooms by, two smoking hot
pizzas in on its trays, saying: "Follow me please!"
The waiter leads them to a booth in the Pizza Hut and sits the
pizzas down on the table.
"If you need anything else just contact the table
waitor," says the screen, looking toward a screen on the table that is
presently turned off. "Thank you for eating at Pizza Hut!"
And the screen waiter zooms away.
As Marty and Doc sit down to eat, 2015 Jen happens to come in and
see them. She wonders where they came from and why they're still alive!
2015 Jen is ready and able to help, but Marty and Doc are not so eager
to get her involved. She's insisent, however, and Doc asks if she knows where
they sell guns. She does and is willing to show them, no questions asked. Doc
and Marty quickly devour their pizzas.
Jen hands Marty and Doc some devices that she says will make them
invisible.
Jen leads them to the department store in the underground mall.
Sure enough, they have a whole glut of weapons and weapons accessories.
Doc and Marty discuss the possibility of preventing Hour Glass from
rising to power by stopping Biff's negative influence on him, but Doc isn't
sure it's a wise strategy.
Doc eyes the gun rack and finds a futuristic stun gun that seems to
shoot a laser that stuns its targets.
As Doc and Marty are looking over the guns, the man at the
department counter calls them over.
"Hey, listen, I can't sell any weapons to Jennifer
Parker," he says. "Betwixt you and me she went a little after her boyfriend died, and sees
things that don't really happen. By the way, are you aware that you each have a
garage opener on your belt?"
I look at Doc who is equally annoyed at being fooled.
I then look at Jen, shooting things with her "ray gun",
which looks a lot like a hairdryer.
7:40 - 7:50 AM
"As the Doc says, Can we swap this classic gun for a phaser or
something?" I ask the nice man.
Marty and Doc inquire of the man if they can swap the 1980's gun
for the current one.
"Is that an honest-to-goodness 1980 firearm?" asks the
man, shocked. "Ha, you got yourself a deal."
The man eagerly trades the stun gun for the shot gun.
"Retirement here I come!"
I suddenly feel sorry for old Jen. I loved her at one stage in her
life afterall.
"Hey Jen. How's the future for you? Where do you live?"
i guess i live in hildale bymyself i guess i can take you there so
we can be safe.
"Good idea. You go ahead and make sure the coast is clear. Doc
and I will get some weapons for us and we'll meet you there."
"No thanks," I say gently, patting her shoulder. "We
have to pick up the DeLorean. But I'll gladly pay for a cab to take you home.
It was very nice seeing you again, Jennifer."
While Marty continues to talk to her, I wave the shop keeper over
again. "Does she really live in Hilldale? I want to make sure she gets
home okay."
"It's a different place every day," says the man.
"Sometimes Narnia, sometimes Oz, sometimes Hilldale. I think she lives at
the retirement home now."
Marty has Jen go ahead of them, then tells Doc that he got rid of
her. Doc wanted to make sure she got back safely, and Marty offers to go get
her.
Meanwhile, Old Jen stands outside the clock tower, talking to an
imaginary Marty and Doc, assuring them that she is fine.
Doc gets some money from an ATM and gives ti to Jen.
Jen thanks Marty and Doc and accepts the money, and gets in a cab,
saying she'll page them with the real address when she arrives. Marty hands her
her "ray gun" that had fallen on the ground. They watch the cab drive
off.
Poor, poor Jennifer.
7:50 - 8:00 AM
Marty and Doc decide to check on the DeLorean. At least this
incident with Jen has gotten their minds off of Marty's murderous parents!
They arrive at Fusion's and the man tells them that they're just
finishing up.
"Quite a unique little contraption you had there before we
installed the Mr. Fusion," the man says. "Archaic, but unique."
They drive the DeLorean out, now equipped with a Mr Fusion energy
converter.
"You're all set, sir, here's your keys," he says, handing
them to Doc. "Thanks for your business."
As Marty and Doc drive away in the DeLorean, they discuss their next
plan of action. Stay in 2015 or return to 1985?
Relieved to find Lorraine still alive in '55, George heads to the cemetery to check on her grave in the future. To October 26, 2015 he goes, and he arrives at the cemetery. He finds her grave next to Marty's. "Died October 26, 1985 -- Died Nobly Trying to Kill the Leader of the WADOTAT Organization"
Looking for more information, George heads for the library. He
grabs some books and starts going over all the information. He learns that
WADOTAT still rules the future and that their leader, Hour Glass, still lives
to that day as well. Apparently there was an attempt on his life on October 26,
1985, but his men were able to undo it by traveling back in time and clearing
Hour Glass from the bunker, and then having guns drawn, blow away the attempted
murderer when she appeared through time, who would later be revealed to be
Lorraine McFly.
George isn't happy that Hour Glass is still alive and wants to
discover his identiy so he can take him out at a younger age (thought if George
doesn't be careful, he may end up erasing himself form existence too!). Wanting
to know more about Marty's death, George heads to Doc's old garage to
investiage.
He finds some old boxes inside and nothing more, the rest of the garage
bare. He goes through the boxes and finds lots of newspaper clippings that give
him no new information. He also finds Doc's notebook, in which he finds the
words: "Biff Tannen Junior is Hour Glass. He must be stopped for the sake
of space and time. In order to be stopped, however, WADOTAT's ability to travel
through time must be taken away, otherwise they can continue to prevent their
own extinction by way of time travel."
He doesn't learn any more information about Marty's death.
Doc and Marty decide to return to Doc's old garage first before
they do anything else. They pull up into the driveway.
George hears the sound of a car approaching and peeks out the
garage window. It's the DeLorean time machine, and he sees Marty and Doc
getting out of it!
Doc, Marty, and George decide to work together. First stop is back
to November 12, 1955 to try to hack into WADOTAT's computer.
2985
8/23/2985
8:00 - 9:00 AM
He reappears in the halls of a futuristic high school. It's huge!
It being a Tuesday, classes are still in session, but thankfully no one is in
the halls of the school!
Marty, meanwhile, leaves the school and searches for a phone booth.
He spots one not far away and he steps inside it. He asks for John Luke's
address.
"There is no record for any 'John Luke' in our Hill Valley
directory," chimes the voice in return.
"Could you please tell me the address of 'TORO' then
please?"
I ask nicely.
Still thinking I'm skating on thin ice with the Doc.
"TORO is a secret government organization and it's address is
also classified information," says the computer voice
sigh. Next time I steal a plan from Doc, I'm going to get all of his plan
"Tell me Mrs. Computer, what do you know of Biff Tannen Junior
or Hour Glass?"
If I can't help Luke destroy him, I'll do it myself. Take a leaf
out of Mom's book!
"The address for Biff Tannen Jr. will now be printed,"
says the voice. A teeny tiny card slides out of a slot. When moved to one
angle, a hologram displaying Biff Tannen Jr.'s address is shown. Biff Jr's
house is somewhere in exterior Hill Valley.
"Thanks." I say, forgetting this is just a machine and
not a person.
I walk to exterior Hill Valley, gazing at the wonders of the future
along the way. Amazing.
I check my time machine. As I understand it I have 2 more trips
left in it.
I now walk down the street that the hologram stated . . .
Marty heads down the street on his hologram. Lots of mansions. HUGE
mansions. Arriving at Biff Junior's address, Marty sees the biggest mansion
he's likely ever seen! Hour Glass is livin' large!
I whistle.
Ok, I hope he's home.
I jump the huge brick fence. Well, perhaps jumping isn't the right
word. Stagger over.
I sneak up past hedges and past a huge swimming pool that would
make a lake jealous.
I arrive at the side of the house that is blocking out the sun.
I peer into the window . . .
Marty peers through Biff Jr's window. Yes, he sees Biff Jr. in his
living room, going over some papers on the table.
OK, may fortune favour the foolish.
I've notticed that in order for the time machine to work, someone
has to push the trigger and then release it. Those two motions.
I take out the useless letter to John Luke, I rip some of the
envolope.
Since I have 2 more trips left on my time transporter, I set it for
10 seconds into the future.
I then kick the window. It smashes into a thousand peices.
As soon as Biff looks up at me I engage the trigger and I vanish.
I arrive 10 seconds later.
Biff Jr has now gone from a sitting position to walking over to the
window. He stops in amazement at my re-appearance.
I then quickly set the controls on the time machine to 10 billion
B.C.
I tie the ripped envolope around the device, causing the trigger to
be engaged.
I then yell "Catch!"
And throw it at Biff Junior.
He catches it and the paper falls off, causing the trigger to
release and Biff Junior. Mighty Hour Glass, vanishes with a yell.
I rub my hands together.
Ooooooh, that certainly deserves a + 1 intelligence (except Marty's
now trapped in 2985, but whatever).
So Biff Junior is trapped in the past without anyone knowing where
he is and is probably going to get eaten by a dinosaur. But, WADOTAT was
already in existence at this point, so their leader is likely offically wiped
out (methinks that deserves a + 1 Missions Accomplished, too), but WADOTAT, it
would seem, still exists without its leader ...
It worked! Biff Junior has gone! Hopefully the dinosaurs made a
good sandwich out of the guy.
I step inside the huge mansion.
My mind drifts back to the start of this amazing adventure.
I remember seeing that Burger King cup, lying on the side of the
road.
I relate to that empty cylnder now. Because I am also empty.
I have no way home. I am empty without Doc. He was my coke.
Now I am trapped in this cold future, dumped on the side of life's
highway.
I think of Doc and the look on his face as we first time travelled
in the DeLorean.
He was so very happy. I'm sad that the three time travel
organizations had to go and spoil his great achievement.
I hope he's alright
The last I saw Dad and Mom, they were acting like a couple of
teenagers in love. I've never seen them so happy before.
I know without a doubt how they ended their journey . . . they
better watch out for the pashing police.
I think of poor Jennifer in 2015. She had really lost it. I'm
talking completley nuts.
Well, I guess ending up in this big mansion has it's advantage.
I could get quite used to this place.
I walk further into the room and look up at the huge sky roof in
the ceiling.
Such a beatuful day outside.
I look up at the great blue yonder and salute my fellow time
travellers. May you all find some peace.
I bend my head in sadness.
It is then that I see the papers Biff Jr was looking over.
Diagrams, instructions and maps.
Apperently these pieces of paper layout where all of Biff Junior's
giant time machines are.
I smile, realising that I may not be so lonely and trapped forever
after all.
Happiness is a wonderful feeling. But the anticipation of
happiness, which I am now experiancing, may even be better
One day I'll come back, yes, I'll come back. Just hang on Doc, Mom
and Dad.
Marty Mcfly has a few tricks left up his sleeve yet.
Marty, knowing that he has just thrown away his life to stop
WADOTAT, enters Biff JrÕs house and sits down in a chair. His eyes cross the
papers Biff Jr. was looking at. Diagrams for time machines and where theyÕre
hidden. Marty smiles. This could be his ticket out of the future and back to
his life!
A little boy, no older than ten, pokes his nose over the table and
looks up at Marty.
ÒI donÕt think youÕre ready to go back yet,Ó he says.
Marty jumps. ÒWhoa! Who the hell are you?Ó
ÒCanÕt say,Ó says the boy, smiling mischievously. ÒHere,Ó he throws
a crumbled piece of paper at him. ÒYouÕve still got some things to do in 2985.
Go here.Ó
Marty uncrumbles the paper and reads the address. ItÕs the address
to where the Twin Pines Mall is located in 1985.
MartyÕs eyes skip from the paper back to the boy. ÒHey, hold the
phone, whatÕre you --Ò
But the boy is gone, and Marty is in the room alone. MartyÕs eyes
return to the paper. He half-smiles.
ÒOkay ... LetÕs rock and roll.Ó
